1766 – the John Fraser

The Caledonian Mercury on Saturday March 1766 reported:

The Fisher, John Fraser, from Dunkirk, with 200 ankers of brandy, was taken off St.Abb’s Head on Friday last, by the Greyhound cutter, Capt. David Boog, and brought into Leith.
