Skills & Experience

I am a professional and experienced genealogist based in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire. I am an efficient and tenacious researcher, with lots of experience both in archives and online, including working as an archive assistant and digitisation officer.

I am an expert on family trees, and WW1 soldier research.

Other research interests include the history of teasmades, the Kennet and Avon Canal, and the history of estate agents during WW1 and the 1920s.

Qualifications

I am currently studying for a Masters Degree in Local and Family History. I have passed the following modules (equivalent to a Postgraduate Certificate):

  • Archive Management Principles And Practice

I am currently working on a module in English Palaeography And Diplomatic.
